Harvesting

I am very happy with the kohlrabi I grow in the garden. They came up beautifully. I also got 2 cucumbers and lots of bell peppers and hot peppers last week. The rain help to moisten the ground despite hurting some of the tomatoes and peppers at the same time because of the hot weather.
The long string beans I grow in the garden are maturing faster. I have to remove the seeds and use them in my vegetables soup.

I slice the tomatoes thinly and roast them in the oven at 450 degree F for 30 minutes. I like to sprinkle some salt, ground black pepper and dried oregano. This combination of spices brought the sweetness to the tomatoes.
