My Russian Purple Kale is growing beautifully. It was really hard to water the garden every day when the weather was hot, humid and dry for the past two weeks. Today, after a heavy rain for a day, the plants are all perked up. I dust the plant with some lime soil. Hopefully the slugs will not go near these plants. The kale can stay in the garden until the first frost.
