I did harvest some lettuces last week. The only lettuce that grows well in my garden is the black Simpson lettuce. The other types of lettuces didn’t come up this time. The iceberg, the Boston, mesclun, oak leaf lettuce, radicchio, butterhead, etc, they all didn’t like me this time. But that is ok, I guess because some of their seeds are pretty old. It was dated back in 2008.
A stray lettuce is growing in between my onions. This black Simpson lettuce is bitter but delicious if cook in soup.
